We are so proud of our students who recently graduated from the First Port City Bank Youth Leadership Program! This program is designed to equip high school students with real-life experience in essential leadership areas, preparing them to become the next generation of leaders in our community and beyond.

Throughout the program, students gained skills that will serve them well in their future academic, professional, and personal lives. They learned how to communicate effectively, manage conflict, handle criticism, set goals, and make informed decisions. Beyond practical skills, they also developed leadership characteristics like humility and servant leadership — understanding that true leadership is about lifting others up and working together toward a common goal.

The program isn’t just about learning — it’s about doing. Students had the opportunity to apply these skills in real-life situations, working together to solve problems, navigate challenges, and support each other along the way. Through workshops, team projects, and hands-on experiences, they discovered the importance of working as a team and the value of listening and learning from others.
