CHAMBER STAFF MEMBERS

The day-to-day operations of the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce are handled by a highly qualified and experienced staff. Without these dedicated individuals and the professional management, administrative, and communication skills that they possess, our Chamber would not be nearly as strong an organization as it is.
Cile G. Warr, President
Cile G. Warr is the President of the Bainbridge-Decatur Chamber of Commerce. Cile also serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Chamber. Cile is responsible for executing the directives and wishes of the Governing Board of Directors and Officers. Cile ensures that all Chamber activities remain focused and in-line with the Chamber's overall mission. All planning, organization, and execution of events, promotions, marketing, and meetings, ultimately originate with, and are overseen by, Cile's office while fulfilling the role of President. Management of Chamber budgetary items are handled as part of her Secretary/Treasurer duties.
Cile is highly qualified and respected in the community, making her an ideal person to fill this role. Her professionalism, dedication, and level of respect from peers and the community in general help open doors to herself and the Chamber, that might not be possible otherwise.
Vanessa Arthur, Special Projects / Membership Manager
Vanessa Arthur is responsible for managing special projects and memberships. Vanessa is intimately involved in all special projects, including research for the projects, associated marketing for the projects, and organization and overall management of the projects. Vanessa's duties also entail performing research for the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce itself, especially as members of the Ga Chambers of Commerce and the U.S. Chambers of Commerce.
Vanessa's duties also include oversight and implementation of Entertainment Contracts, including existing, recurring events, as well as new events. Vanessa's attention to detail, knowledge, and experience in these matters makes her a valuable asset to the Chamber.
Another very important duty for Vanessa is membership management. Vanessa maintains a membership database, ensuring that the Chamber maintains high retention of existing members as well as encouraging growth by inviting and accepting new members (businesses and individuals). Effective membership management is a vital responsibility since the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce is constantly looking outward toward growth and expansion as our local community does the same.
Dianne Strickland, Executive Assistant
Dianne Stirckland is usually the first voice you will hear when calling the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce. The friendliness and professionalism in her voice is indicative of the way she handles her duties. Dianne handles an unlimited variety of duties on a daily basis, including public relations (phones, emails, etc.), registrations, recording of all minutes from all Chamber meetings, and event and meeting scheduling. Dianne is also responsible for publishing all media notifications for Chamber-related events, and keeping the financial books for the Chamber.
Dianne is often the person that will assist in pointing you in the right direction when you're searching for information, businesses, or individuals. She also supplies data and information as requested, ensuring that specific needs are accurately met on a case by case basis.
Dianne sends out Welcome Packets and Relocation Packages all over the United States on a constant basis, meaning the she is normally the origin for information for new contacts and/or prospective businesses and individuals looking to relocate to our area.
It is Dianne's activity each day that allows the Chamber management as a whole to stay focused on tasks at hand and to stay on-track. The results of her attention to her work and the inviting attitude that she shows when dealing with the public and businesses helps the Chamber maintain efficient day-to-day operations.
